Robyn Rihanna Fenty, often called Rihanna by the Barbadians is a singer/songwriter. Her hits are Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella, and Take a Bow. Rihanna is one of the most successful artists ever. Her music career has been an incredible success, and she's still very young. Her parents were from Barbados and she began singing at a young age. As a result of the chaos in her home as well as the disputes her parents had, she turned to music. She soon decided that she wanted to become a performer. When she was in high school she joined a group of musicians. They also got the chance to meet the music producer Evan Rodgers. He was amazed by her talents. Rihanna moved into New York to start a career in singing full time. Rihanna's debut album soon became a hit and she was called the next big thing in music. her sultry foot-tapping tracks were the most popular with the youngsters motivating her to venture into films too. A talented young woman, Rihanna has been hailed as a teenage idol. Rihanna put her celebrity to positive use as she is actively engaged in a variety of charities.
