Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, an American stage and screen actress and producer. She is most famous as a film actress due to her role as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She received a B.A. from African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School of acting at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in film, theater, and TV. She began acting on stage and went onto appear in mainstream, independent, and TV series. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico. The BET's massive show The Book of Negroes she was a character. Not only did she be praised by critics for her role but was also awarded and nominations. In 1995, she was the first to appear in the role of Ariel on the stage on stage in The Tempest. The stage credits she has received include the Broadway production of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis.
