Audra McDonald is unrivaled in the range and variety of her artistry as both a singer and an actor. Record-breaking six times winner of her Tony Awards, two Grammy Awards as well as one Emmy Award she received in 2015 from Barack Obama. The actress starred on Mister Sterling and produced by Emmy Award Winner Lawrence O'Donnell Jr. The Bedford Diaries, a WB television show that premiered in 2006. McDonald then appeared as a recurring part on NBC's Kidnapped in the year following. McDonald was awarded the fourth Emmy award for her performance in HBO's special film of Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill in the year 2016. The Bite will be a 6-episode drama focusing on a deadly pandemic that will be produced by Spectrum Originals, CBS Studios and Taylor Schilling in 2021. McDonald initially played U.S. lawyer Liz Lawrence (now Liz Reddick), in the CBS legal thriller The Good Wife, in the year 2009. In 2018, she recast the role on The Good Fight for Paramount+ as a series regular. Her performance received three Critics Choice Award Nominations. The actress is a featured guest for the HBO series The Gilded Age by Julian Fellowes.
