Jana Kramer became famous on TV, in which she portrayed Alex in One Tree Hill's finale for the last three seasons. The show featured her debut releases as country music, propelling her 2012 debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, the follow-up album from album from 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. The decade ended with her appearances on Dancing with the Stars, television shows, and singles that were not album tracks. The year was 2021 and the single Doubting Voices came out. Though she had a recording and acting career, her debut on screen took place in the independent horror film Dead/Undead (2002) when she was still at high school.
