Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently a part with CNBC. She is a co-anchor for the channel's shows 'Squawkon the Street', and Closing Bell'. Although she's from Ohio but she didn't have a keen interest in the world of markets or currency during the college years. When she was a student at New York University, she completed an internship at the start-up site ForexTV.com. It was her first encounter in business news from this job. She went on to earn a master's degree in broadcast journalism at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. The position was for four months with Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. She returned to the United States and began her career in New York at Bloomberg. Eventually, she became a anchor for a TV show. CNBC hired her as a reporter in December 2013. She has served as a co-anchor of 'Worldwide Exchange as well as 'Power Lunch', before landing the job on 'Closing Bell in the year the year. Eisen has been co-anchoring the show 'Squawk on the Street' since 2014. One of the most renowned business journalists in the world her primary area of focus is on global consumer stories since joining CNBC.
