
Drew Blythe Barrymore, born 22nd February 1975 is an American actor, director, and producer. She hosts an talk show, host and writer. She is a member of the Barrymore actor family. She has won a variety of awards and nominations including the Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and an Screen Actors Guild Award. She was also nominated for seven Emmy Awards and a British Academy Film Award. She was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2004.Barrymore gained fame as a child actor when she starred in her breakthrough part in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. She published Little Girl Lost after a quite public childhood of drug and alcohol addiction. She was a part of a string of successful films in the 1990s and the 2000s, which included Charlie's Angels, Never Been Kissed, Poison Ivy, Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After. Barrymore was in the spotlight alongside Adam Sandler on three films, The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. Other films she has appeared in include Firestarter, Donnie Darko, Riding in Cars with Boys, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Fever Pitch, Music and Lyrics, Going the Distance, Big Miracle, and Miss You Already. She also played in her first directorial film Whip It. Grey Gardens was her first film. She received a Screen Actors Guild Award, as well as a Golden Globe Award.
